Terms of Service & Beta Agreement

Effective 29 June 2026. By creating an account or using ViperEffects ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

Accounts are for one person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your login, and you're responsible for activity under your account. We may enforce a single active session per account and revoke access for violations. A verified email is required for certain actions.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to: copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the Service's source code, shaders, or rendering logic; resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Service or access to it; circumvent quotas, watermarks, rate limits, or the export gate; upload content you don't have the rights to, or anything unlawful, infringing, or abusive; or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal interactive use.

3. Intellectual property

ViperEffects, including its software, code, halftone/rendering engine, design, and brand, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service — no ownership or license to the underlying code or to reproduce the Service is granted. You keep the rights to artwork you upload and to the files you export; you grant us only the limited rights needed to process and deliver them to you. We do not claim ownership of your designs.

Commercial use of your exports. Subject to your having the rights to the underlying artwork, you may print, sell, and distribute physical products — apparel, transfers, prints, and similar goods — made from the films and images you export, royalty-free, with no per-unit fee owed to us. Paid Pro and Studio plans carry this commercial-use license for production work, and Studio includes a full commercial license suitable for client and resale jobs. Exports made on the free tier or during the private beta are provided for evaluation; activate a paid plan for ongoing commercial production.

4. AI features

AI generate, upscale, and background-removal run on third-party providers. You're responsible for your prompts and for having the rights to any image you process. AI usage is metered per account, and outputs are subject to the applicable provider's terms. AI results are provided as-is and may vary.

5. Feedback

Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you send us may be used freely to improve the Service, with no obligation or compensation to you.

6. Beta program

The Service is currently in a free, invite-only private beta. By participating you understand and agree that: it is provided "as is" and may be incomplete, change, break, or be discontinued at any time; features, quotas, and pricing may change; your data, exports, or account may be reset or removed; access is personal to you and must not be shared or publicized without our permission; and you'll keep beta access, credentials, and any non-public details confidential. We may end your beta access at any time.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or output, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (which, during the free beta, is zero).

8. Termination & changes

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
